LHASA, July 23 (Guangming Online)--Located in Caina Township, Qushui County, Lhasa, the Caina Plateau Characteristic Agriculture Demonstration Zone has become a highland benchmark for modern, eco-friendly, and integrated agriculture. With a total planned area of 20,000 mu (approx. 1,333 hectares), including a 2,000-mu core zone, the park integrates modern agricultural demonstration, scientific research, ecological tourism, and industry-tourism fusion.
In 2024, the zone achieved a total agricultural output value of 40.74 million yuan and received 151,000 tourists, generating 7.68 million yuan in tourism revenue. It currently hosts 15 enterprises and 12 research institutions, focusing on highland seed innovation, organic cultivation, and specialty fruit and flower production.
Following a "One Core + Four Parks" layout, the zone includes the Cultural Tourism Service Center, Snowland Flower Valley, Highland Seed Park, Pure Land Expo Park, and the Specialty Fruit Industry Park. Recognized as a national-level modern agriculture demonstration zone and a national 3A tourist attraction, it is playing a vital role in advancing rural revitalization and sustainable development across Xizang.
