The closing ceremony of the 2026 Delegation of Young Leaders from Bangladesh to China was held in Beijing on June 30. In an exclusive interview with Guangming Online, Foqoruddin Al Kabir, Senior Research Associate at the Centre for Policy Dialogue in Bangladesh, said what impressed him the most about China was its balanced development model that integrates modernization with ecological conservation. The approach offers valuable reference for Bangladesh's urbanization drive.

Kabir expressed hope that Bangladesh could draw on China's experience in eco-friendly urban planning and expand bilateral cooperation with China on renewable energy and green technologies. Both countries honor their climate pledges under the Paris Agreement, laying the groundwork for a new partnership centered on sustainable green growth.
