BERLIN, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Germany and Sweden on Tuesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to intensify their bilateral defence partnership.
According to the German defense ministry's statement, the agreement was signed by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and his Swedish counterpart Pal Jonson during the ongoing Berlin Security Conference.
The MoU establishes a framework for deeper cooperation in joint military training, procurement of modern technologies, and enhancing interoperability between their armed forces, the statement said.
