Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Minister of Foreign Affairs, published an article titled "Striving for the Building of a Community With a Shared Future for Humanity" on studying and acting on the guiding principles of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, Nov. 5. 2025.
He noted that the Recommendations outline a series of important measures for advancing the building of a community with a shared future for humanity, and make strategic plans for pursuing major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
We must enhance our political stance and, proceeding from the strategic height of coordinating the big picture of national rejuvenation and the global changes of a magnitude not seen in a century, understand and grasp the Recommendations accurately and implement them resolutely, he stressed.

-- We should work with neighboring countries to advance integrated development.

-- We should maintain overall stability in relations among major countries.

-- We should deepen solidarity and cooperation with other developing countries.

-- We should put into practice the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Global Security Initiative (GSI), the Global Civilization Initiative (GCI), and the Global Governance Initiative (GGI).

-- We should work to build an open, inclusive, clean and beautiful world of lasting peace, universal security, and shared prosperity.
