China's national railways transported approximately 2.68 billion tonnes of goods in the first eight months of 2025, which was up 3.5 percent year on year.
An average of 184,000 freight cars were loaded each day, up 4.3% from the same period last year.
Cross-border freight services such as the China-Europe Railway Express and China-Central Asia freight trains have maintained smooth, stable operations.
