Infographic: Major Events in War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Year of 1938

On April 7, 1938, the Chinese army achieved victory in the Battle of Tai'erzhuang in Yi County, east China's Shandong Province.

In May, Mao Zedong published his “Problems of Strategy in Guerrilla War Against Japan” and “On Protracted War" in Yan'an City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province.

From June to October, the Chinese army fought in the Defense of Wuhan, which was the largest, longest, and most costly battle in terms of casualties since the start of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression.
