5.3-magnitude quake hits Vanuatu Islands -- GFZ

　　BEIJING, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 2025-01-26 06:13:36 GMT on Sunday (2025-01-26 14:13:36 Beijing Time), the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

　　The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 17.70 degrees south latitude and 167.88 degrees east longitude. ■
