In early August, the "Xinjiang: Always More to Discover" event invited Turkish media professionals to explore Xinjiang. Using their cameras, they captured the journey and created a series of micro-documentaries titled "The Endless Journey of the Silk Road: Xinjiang."
In this episode, through the eyes of Turkish journalists, we explore Kashi, a city that stands as a living museum of history and culture. Known for its labyrinth-like streets and the fusion of ancient civilizations—Rome, India, Persia, and Central China—Kashi captivates with its unique architecture and deep historical roots. The city's rich spiritual heritage is still visible in daily life, while landmarks like the Id Kah Mosque showcase its cultural significance. Each building in the city, with its distinct design, tells a story from Kashi's 2,100-year history along the Silk Road.
