China's State Council Information Office on Thursday released a white paper titled "China's Energy Transition," highlighting the country's significant achievements in the energy sector. The second chapter of the white paper focuses on "Promoting Green Energy Consumption" and is divided into three key areas:

Firstly, by strengthening institutional constraints for energy conservation and carbon reduction, China has effectively controlled energy use and carbon emissions, leading to notable reductions in energy intensity and carbon dioxide emissions.

Secondly, with a focus on improving energy conservation and efficiency in key sectors, China has enhanced energy efficiency and conservation in crucial areas such as industry, construction, transport, and public institutions, significantly optimizing energy use.

Lastly, by fostering green models of energy consumption, China has actively promoted the use of renewable energy and low-carbon lifestyles, driving the entire society towards a green and low-carbon transition, while improving environmental quality and living standards.
