Baersi Snow Mountain, located in Zhangye, Gansu province, has drawn growing attention from visitors thanks to its unique landscape and beautiful scenery. The main peak reaches 5,118 meters above sea level. It is a sacred place in the hearts of the Yugur people. Baersi means "tall, magnificent, and divine" in the Yugur language.
