Rural medical assistance project transforms healthcare condition in Liangshan’s village

In a transformative move to enhance healthcare accessibility and quality, Zhongba Village in Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China’s Sichuan Province has implemented a comprehensive rural medical assistance project, which has played a pivotal role in reducing poverty and promoting sustainable rural revitalization by ensuring that residents have access to essential medical services.

Besides, the village has successfully integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into its rural medical assistance project. This fusion of TCM with modern medical practices is enhancing healthcare accessibility and quality, playing a crucial role in increasing healthcare accessibility in rural areas.
