Wuyishan National Park：Discoverer of New Species

Mount Wuyi is one of the richest in China in terms of biological resources. Known as a paradise for birds, a kingdom of snakes, a world of insects, and an origin of world biological type specimens. At the heart of Wuyishan National Park, Zeng Hui, director of the Institute of Edible Mushrooms at Fujian Academy of Agricultural Sciences is hiking with his team along the winding mountain trails, looking for and observing traces of various types of fungi. They are conducting a background survey of biological resources in the Park. Lays the foundation for the establishment of Wuyishan National Park, for the improvement of species habitat quality to restore species population, and for researchers to discover new species.
