Today, China is by far Austria's most important trading partner in Asia. Over the last decades, our bilateral trade volume has not only grown in size, but also in depth. There are currently about one thousand Austrian subsidaries in China, their long-term engagement reflects the ever-growing importance of the Chinese-Austrian business relations. I'm convinced that the 4th CIIE in Shanghai will provide an excellent opportunity for further successful Chinese-Austrian cooperation.
