TIANJIN, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng on Thursday called for pragmatic cooperation to build a win-win, green and prosperous future for the global mining industry.

He, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks while addressing the opening ceremony of the 2026 China Mining Conference and Exhibition in Tianjin, north China.

China has deepened global mining cooperation and forged a high-quality development path featuring openness, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, He said.

The vice premier noted that international mining cooperation is an important vehicle for countries to complement each other's resource advantages and promote economic and social development, and is also a practical necessity for safeguarding the security and stability of global industrial and supply chains.
