Just 200 meters from the Badaling Great Wall, Badaling Hotel has welcomed more than 100 foreign heads of state and nearly 2 million visitors since opening in 1986.

Its story dates back even further. In 1965, after accompanying Pakistani President Ayub Khan for lunch at Badaling, Premier Zhou Enlai called for better reception facilities at the Great Wall. This led to the construction of the Badaling Foreign Guest Restaurant, which later became today’s Badaling Hotel.

Today, the hotel continues this tradition of hospitality, offering high-end dining, events, and cultural experiences. Its rooftop terrace can host large-scale Great Wall banquets, with the illuminated Wall as a spectacular backdrop.
