Young delegates share global governance ideas at Model UN conference

At a recent Model United Nations conference hosted by Fangcaodi International School, young "diplomats" engaged in lively discussions on digital technologies and sustainable development, offering thoughtful ideas for global governance.

Representing Kenya, Guo Qifan suggested: "It's not enough to have internet access—women and girls must also have equal opportunities to learn and use digital tools. Countries should work together to provide training and build real bridges."

Russia's representative, Dementyeva Arina, proposed a global platform for sharing digital and energy technologies, aiming to boost green and digital cooperation worldwide.

China's delegate, Lv Qianqian, called for a dedicated digital cooperation platform to share experience and promote mutual learning in digital innovation.

As the resolution passed, the room filled with applause and excitement. Though young, these students demonstrated remarkable insight—showing how dialogue, cooperation, and shared vision can help shape a better future for our global village. (Photo provided to Guangming Online)
