Poster: China's auto output, sales rise sharply in March

China's automobile production and sales rose sharply in March from the previous month, industry data showed on April 10.

Automobile output totaled 2.92 million units in March and sales came in at 2.9 million units, surging 74.4 percent and 60.6 percent month on month, respectively, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.

New energy vehicle (NEV) output and sales stood at 1.23 million units and 1.25 million units, respectively.
