Winter Solstice celebration held across China

As the Winter Solstice approaches, warmth arrives ahead of the cold. In recent days, from school campuses in Hebei to rural villages in Xinjiang, from communities in Anhui to streets in Shandong, dumpling-making events have been held across the country. Students carry forward traditional customs through hands-on participation, elders savor the warmth of care, and community volunteers and frontline workers share the festive atmosphere, welcoming the arrival of the Winter Solstice together. These simple dumplings convey the cozy warmth and heartfelt care of the season.
