KABUL, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- The construction work on 17 infrastructure projects has been completed in Afghanistan's western Ghor province, the state-run Bakhtar news agency reported Friday.
The projects, which include roads, bridges, and protective walls, are valued at over 13 million Afghanis (200,010 U.S. dollars) and will provide enhanced facilities for the local community.
As part of efforts to rebuild war-torn Afghanistan, the caretaker government has launched many infrastructure projects, calling on national and international enterprises to invest and create job opportunities for the Afghan people.
