Foreign journalists highlight FOCAC's role in promoting developing opportunities

The Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) continues to be a pivotal platform for advancing China's collaboration with the developing world. As FOCAC celebrates its 24th year, foreign journalists praised the forum for its contributions to the growth and development of Africa.

Nigerian journalist Taiwo Olawale Okanlawon lauded the forum for opening up opportunities for Africa, noting that over 50 African presidents participated, underscoring the forum's significance.

Samith Bodhipaksa, a documentary director from Sri Lanka, noted that China's role in developing infrastructure across Africa, including ports, airports, and highways, stressing that such initiatives would help accelerate development in the region.

Angelo Jedidiah, a journalist from the Caribbean, expressed hope that FOCAC's success in Africa could inspire further collaboration between China and the Caribbean. The growing cooperation between China and the developing world highlights the broader prospects for fostering economic and social development across the Global South.
