China's energy transition providing new drivers for global green development

China's State Council Information Office on Aug. 29, 2024 released a white paper titled "China's Energy Transition" to document the country's successful actions and historic achievements in this field over the past decade.

China has actively promoted green development by transforming its own development models and engaging in extensive energy cooperation worldwide, according to the white paper.

Through its efforts, China has provided new drivers for global green development, the white paper said.

China’s green energy development has become an engine for global energy transition, the white paper noted.

The white paper also pointed out that China’s new energy industry provides green power for the world.

China’s further opening up creates new opportunities for deeper international cooperation on clean energy, the white paper emphasized.
