Kushal Subedi, Section Officer at the National Dalit Council of Nepal, emphasized the critical importance of international collaboration in eradicating poverty in an inclusive interview with Guangming Online, during the Seminar on Inclusive Growth and Poverty Reduction for Developing Countries organized by the International Poverty Reduction Center in China.
As a major global issue, poverty can only be eradicated with the collaboration of every country, Subed noted. Lauding China's role in fostering international cooperation through platforms like the seminar, he highlighted the value of periodic plans and collective efforts, suggesting that more countries be included in the benefit of such initiatives.
"Developing and less developed countries can implement the poverty alleviation strategies they learn from China in their contexts. China should continue to promote and share these strategies globally," Subedi added. He called for more inclusive, broader platforms to be built in the future for participating countries to share ideas, raise funding, and address poverty collectively.
