Serbian President Vucic anticipates fruitful visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic shared views on Chinese President Xi Jinping's upcoming state visit in a joint interview in Belgrade on Wednesday. Highlighting the strong friendship shared between the two countries, he noted that President Xi is a great leader and a great friend of Serbia.

"We consider ourselves as a great friend of China as well," he added, emphasizing the mutual respect and camaraderie that characterize the bilateral relationship.

Citing the ongoing projects such as the Belgrade-Budapest railway, Vucic emphasized the extensive collaboration between Serbia and China. He also expressed keen interest in attracting more capital-intensive, technologically advanced Chinese companies to Serbia.
