BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) -- The second stage matches of the 2021-22 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) regular season will be held in two cities from December 25 to January 28, 2022.
As announced by the league's governing body on Tuesday, the two competition zones are Zhuji in east China's Zhejiang Province, which played host to the first stage of the current regular season, and Changchun in northeast China's Jilin Province.
The second stage of the CBA regular season consists of matches between the 14th and 28th round, and each competition zone will feature 10 teams.
The 14th and 23rd round will be held between December 25 and January 16, 2022. After that, five teams from each competition zone will switch to the other to participate in remaining matches staged between January 18 and 28, 2022.
After 13 rounds of play, the Liaoning Flying Leopards leads the 20-team table with a 12-1 record, followed by the Guangdong Southern Tigers, the Shenzhen Aviators and the Zhejiang Lions, all with a win-loss record of 11-2. Enditem
