The 22nd China Beijing International High-tech Expo opens in Beijing

The 22nd China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) kicks off in Beijing, Oct. 24, 2019.

Beijing, October 24 (Guangming Online) – The 22nd China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC) opened in Beijing on Oct. 24, 2019. The expo is being held in China International Exhibition Center and will last till Oct. 27, 2019.

Since 1998, the expo has been held every year in Beijing. The expo this year is themed “advancing construction of the scientific and technological innovation center and leading quality development of the industry”.

Covering 38,000 square meters, the expo consists of 19 display areas. The event includes comprehensive activities, 4-day exhibitions, 14 promotion activities, and 11 forums. Representatives from UNCSTD and BRICS New Development Bank, and delegations from 19 countries and regions, will join the expo. Participants will also include delegations from over 20 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, and more than 1,200 enterprises.
