On April 23, 2024, in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, the 2024 International Wushu Invitational Tournament, hosted by the International Wushu Federation and the Chinese Wushu Association, opened at the Feima Shuicheng Cultural and Sports Center in Jiangyin. Serving as supplementary qualification matches for the Wushu World Cup, this tournament attracted nearly 300 athletes from 38 countries and regions across five continents.
